The Area Sales / Business Development Manager will report to the General Sales Manager and be responsible for maintaining relationships and growing business with existing customers, identifying new prospects and engaging with key decision makers within those organisations. 

 

Our client is an International Distributor of an extensive range of Flexible Packaging films and bags including a Conversion Unit for various substrates. Working from a UK Head Office, they have strong links with the US and a regionally based sales force throughout England selling primarily to the Food Manufacturing and Food Retail sector. 

 

The successful Area Sales / Business Development Manager – Flexible Packaging will be an enterprising and enthusiastic individual with good communication skills and a customer service focus. A team player is needed, an individual who enjoys a challenge, taking pride in joining the team to lead the company through its next phase of growth. 

 

The Area Sales / Business Development Manager will have a good knowledge and technical background on flexible packaging materials and applications ranging from Polypropylene – Plain, Perforated and Printed in roll and bag form, Polyester – Plain, Perforated etc and an awareness of the customer base involved.

 

The successful Area Sales / Business Development Manager – Flexible Packaging will be confident in front of customers and have a proven track record of developing accounts and securing new business opportunities. They will be able to manage relationships at all levels of management including directors and key decision makers. 

 

The role is home-based.
