To further nourish our success, our Seaham Plant is looking to develop the Warehousing team by recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader, Nights, to lead a small team of Warehouse Operatives, working on a 12 hour shift pattern, nights. To provide support to the Warehouse Controller/ Logistics Manager and ensure smooth running of the warehouse, maintaining the hygiene and GMP standards and ensure the health, safety and welfare of employees within the team.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure all deliveries are checked for accuracy, booked in correctly and moved to correct location
• Management reporting & managing discrepancies
• Ensure all paperwork is accurately recorded and SAP system is maintained
• Ensure stock takes are carried out accurately and at the required frequency and all discrepancies are investigated and resolved
• Ensure all dispatches are picked accurately, dispatched on time and the goods issue carried out correctly
• Maintain warehouse in a clean and tidy state, ensuring all GMP and food safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Ensure effective stock rotation is carried out as required
• Ensure correct allocation of materials to production
• Ensure all materials are clearly labelled and stored in a controlled manner
• Ensure health, safety and welfare of all employees is protected
• Reconcile current production and ensure it is stored correctly

Experience

• Preferably able to drive a FLT
• Previous supervisory experience
• Good numerical skills
• Preferably had experience within the food industry
• Flexibility with regards to working hours
• Reliable, enthusiastic to make a difference
• Preferably computer literate with some knowledge of SAP
