To further nourish our success, our Seaham Plant is looking to develop the Production team by recruiting a Continuous Improvement Leader.

This role will provide and maintain effective processes across all functions, to enable Continuous Improvement of all business supply activities and the on-going development of individuals and teams.

Reporting into the Process Improvement Manager the Continuous Improvement Leader will work closely with line managers creating a pro-active team environment implementing both process improvements and plant development plans. Mission Foods is currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Leader in Seaham.

The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of business issues and the customer interface; along with a sound understanding of the manufacturing process and its variables. This position requires highly developed coaching & analytical skills, enthusiasm, resourcefulness and determination.

Qualifications / Skills

•  Minimum of three years Continuous Improvement, Lean & Process Management experience and have a successful track record within the FMCG sector, preferably bakery
•  Degree or HND standard of education is desirable
•  A good standard of both written and oral English
•  Basic Food Hygiene
•  Data and analytical skills
• Computer literacy
• An understanding of SAP

• Nebosh
• H&S Certificate
