Biosensor assay for the detection and quantification of trehalose, a disaccharide of glucose

French laboratory has developed an alternative method of detection and quantification of trehalose using strains of genetically engineered Pseudomonas fluorescens. Licenses agreement for commercial applications are targeted towards research laboratories and service delivery companies, as well as agri-food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, agricultural companies in capacity to develop this type of biomass.
