Tax credits for R & D
GGTC has helped more than 300 companies to qualify for the R & D Tax Credit from HMRC (with refunds averaging £40K per annum) and works with businesses across all size ranges.
GGTC’s aim is to ensure companies qualify for tax credits under the rules surrounding Research and Development. The GGTC team is based in St Albans Herts but travels across the UK.
One local company that has seen major gains from working with GGTC is Warden Plastics in Luton.Initially a chipper and seller of re-granulated plastics, Warden moved into design and production of, injection moulded and extruded products, and most recently manufacturing and marketing a Biomedia range used in the waste treatment
industry.
Claims were made for two major R&D projects – Biomedia –a filter media for the biological process used in sewage treatment plants, and a Balloon Stick, which is used in the retail sector to display promotional balloons. GGTC carried out all the claim preparation work, while Warden supplied accounts information and project details. Warden received a cheque for a five figure sum within six months of starting the claims process.
“GGTC are specifically geared up to deal with this sort of claim, so they can move more quickly and have the particular knowledge needed to push claims through,” said Mark Barrett, Managing Director, Warden Plastics.
GGTC works on a “No Win No Fee” basis which takes out any risk. If you want to read more about the Warden Plastics’ experience or about how GGTC can help you then click here to see the full case study
