Position:	Supply and Sourcing Coordinator
Job Description:	Our Client is a successful and established company are looking for a Supply and sourcing Coordinator with some experience from fresh or perishable food industry to join their team. In this role you will be required to coordinate the day to day servicing of customer orders to ensure target service levels are achieved at least cost to the business. You will build strong relationships with retailer merchandising teams and ensure that our client is seen as a pro-active supplier focussed on their business. Detailed understanding of the retailer supply chain systems is critical to success so you will ideally have worked closely with retailers in the past. You will manage the day to day supply chain communication required with suppliers based overseas and handle any shipping issues that arise from moving fresh produce by Air Freight into the UK. In this hands on role you will need to take responsibility for a number of tasks including: · Hands on day to day detailed supply chain management of one specific retailer account · KPI ownership and accountability for one account · Managing Supply Accounts, dealing with any queries or rejections. · Supplier performance monitoring and feedback · Involvement in annual supplier business reviews · Amending Supplier and Customer Orders. · Looking at Supply Chain Costs e.g. Distribution. Skills:	The ideal candidate will have a background within a Supply Chain Role in the Food industry (preferably fresh or chilled produce), looking at driving down costs. You background may be within buying / procurement or logistics coordination. You should have extensive experience of dealing direct with Key Suppliers and Key Accounts with retailers.
