Norfolk’s Bernard Matthews has announced that Bernard Matthews has informed the Board of his intention to retire as a Director from the Holdings Board upon his 80th birthday in January. He will remain Chairman of the recently established Supervisory Board.

The Supervisory Board represents the interests of the Company's shareholders, oversees the activities and approves key decisions of the Holdings Board. David McCall, who is currently a Non-Executive Director, will be appointed Non-Executive Chairman of the Holdings Board. Michael Lunn has joined Bernard Matthews Holdings Board as Non-Executive Director.
