Up to 44 jobs are
being axed at George Adams and Sons' Spalding factory and another 112 could
follow.
Adams Pork Products announced its
intention to make up to 44 night shift roles redundant in the frying
department at its Fulney Lane site.
The company will now enter into a
consultation period with employees at risk of redundancy, and warned that a
further consultation over the future of 112 frying plant jobs will start
next month.
