The Business Centre @ CRC has been established to assist businesses in developing and promoting best practice in business through the continued development of its staff including the food manufacturing and processing sectors. Profit from Learning is a key plank in the governments drive to support employers allowing them to train staff at no cost.

Profit from Learning focuses on practical training that adds real value to your business.  You can choose from ‘Essential Skills’ or NVQ level 2.  Essential Skills covers key areas of job-related literacy, numeracy and language skills (ESOL). Developing these skills lead to greater efficiency and higher quality, better customer service and staff motivation but, most importantly of all, increased productivity and profitability. 

Whether, for example, the training relates to speaking and listening, understanding information, writing reports and maintaining accurate records, or analysing data and interpreting figures and statistics, ‘Essential Skills’ are fundamental to the success of the modern business.

Level 2 qualifications gives key staff vocational skills to develop professionalism and the capability to perform competently, taking the weight off your shoulders whether it is manufacturing, customer service or administration.
