Fresh faces for Daniels Chilled Foods
Daniels Chilled Foods, producer of chilled, fresh foods,
has announced two new appointments at its Peterborough headquarters.
Nick Munby, 32 has been appointed Senior Brand Manager
for New Covent Garden Food Co, focusing on the Soup and
Sauce ranges. Nick will also be leading the launch of the UK’s first fresh
porridge range in November.
Nick joins Daniels Chilled Foods from premium crisp
manufacturer Kettle Foods where he spent six years as Consumer Marketing
Manager and Brand Manager.
The company is also announcing the appointment of Daniel
Gough, Brand Manager for the number one freshly squeezed juice brand,
Johnsons.
Daniel, 28 has previous experience at Nestlé Rowntree
where he spent four years in category and brand management for gifting and
seasonal products.
As well as the Johnsons brand Daniel’s role will
involve private label projects and the prepared fruits plant in Leeds.
Daniels Chilled Foods’ Marketing Director, Nigel
Parrott said: "With the major investment in New Covent Garden Food Co
Soup, the development of a new sauce range and the launch of the UK’s
first fresh porridge range it is a very exciting time for the company. Nick
and Daniel will play key roles in ensuring that Daniels Chilled Foods
continues to increase market share in all its key areas.
This year we have also invested £6 million into the
Johnsons fresh juice production site in Headcorn, Kent and are keen to
continue to support the brand and gain even more trade and consumer
awareness."
