What do I get if I join?
What's in it for me or my company?
FoodEast prides itself on delivering regular timely communication of key information for the region's food industry. We do this through a couple of email newsletters each week - usually Monday and Thursday, through information and adverts on our website.
We occasionally run on-line surveys and we always ask the critical question, "how will this information help a busy food business manager?" before we send anything out.
If it doesn't pass the B......t test we flush it down the toilet.
So, if you join FodEast you will get regular information that should be useful to you, and you will have a source of local food news, R & D, jobs and skills/training opportunities.
We often have discounts offered for products or services to members so there is also the chance that you will get some direct gain through his.
If you are a company with job vancancies you can access our job advertisement service and Jobs Pages with very low recruitment fees knowing that we have a readership that should include ideal candidates for your vacancies.
If you are an employee there wil be a chance to see where your next job could be through our Jobs Pages
You should also see, via the sponsors on our site, several ways in which your business could run more efficiently or sustainably.
All in all your membership of FoodEast should be a very positive experience.

There is no space here for a complete history but we can provide a few pointers to the region’s heritage. The wool and worsted industry of Norfolk and Suffolk stemmed from the mercantile prosperity of Tudor times – and the impact can still be seen today in the buildings, churches and cathedrals across the region: Gothic architecture in almost all of the Cambridge Colleges, mercantile and Georgian houses in Kings' Lynn and Wisbech, and chocolate box pink villages in the Suffolk wool towns. Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and Ely. And wherever you travel you are never more than a few minutes away from a windmill.
